Our systems

The principal test our systems perform is the “A1c test”, also previously known as HbA1c and Glycated Haemoglobin (A1c is one of the fractions of haemoglobin).

This test is well recognised by clinicians as the ‘gold standard’ of diabetes management. This is because it provides a picture of the average glucose control by a patient over the preceding 2-3 months, and enables them to assess the risk of long-term complications.

Our systems represent a new standard in A1c testing, combining advanced chemistry, innovative ergonomic design, state of the art instrumentation, optics and electronics.

There are two versions:
Quo-Test™ A1c, a fully automatic, one-step system comprising analyzer, disposable cartridge and peripherals for the use by physicians, nurses and any point of care setting. In a busy front line clinic, the time taken to get a patient’s A1c result is a crucial factor. Quo-Test will deliver a result in less than 4 minutes, the quickest available today.

Quo-Lab©, a very cost effective system comprising analyzer, cuvettes and reagent kit for manual sample preparation. It is particularly well suited for the smaller laboratory. Easy to operate, without the need to group samples in batches, Quo-Lab brings cost savings and flexibility to labs the world over.

Both systems provide a rapid and easy method of conducting A1c testing and make this crucial test easily available and affordable to diabetes patients in almost any location in the world.
