Simple, Fast and Cost Effective

A new era in A1c lab assays is here and Quotient Diagnostics are proud to introduce our second A1c analyser, the Quo-Lab. This newest addition measures the levels of Glycated Hemoglobin in the blood using the renowned and reliable boronic affinity chemistry coupled with Quotient’s own patented Fluorescence Quenching technology.

The Quo-Lab was specifically designed for ease of use within the smaller laboratory environment. This is a rapid 3 step assay taking just 4 minutes with a goal of reducing time and cost for its user. Quo-Lab builds on the fluorescence quenching technology of our popular Quo-Test analyser.

State of the Art
The Quo-Lab A1c combines the simultaneous measurement of absorption and fluorescence in one sample, using low cost, solid state opto-electronic technology. The result is this rapid desk top reader designed for ease of use with outstanding performance.

Precision
The Quo-Lab works with a very similar technology used by hospital laboratories throughout the world coupled with our patented assay. Studies have shown that its results are both highly accurate and reliable. Such precision and short testing time make it an ideal analyser for the low to medium volume laboratory. Quo-Lab is traceable to the IFCC reference method and reports results in either DCCT, IFCC, Mono-S or JDS aligned values.

Intelligence
In addition to being simple, fast and cost effective, the Quo-Lab is technologically up to date with a sophisticated software which runs continuous operational checks to detect and eliminate erroneous results. The analyser’s internal menu is available in many local languages and the system is connectable to a printer or computer for data management.
