ABOUT THE COMPANY
InvestorsThe lead investors since 1993 have been three VC seed capital funds: NESTA, Great Eastern Investment Forum Ventures and The Capital Fund (the regional VC for London). They are matched by a syndicate of private investors including management. They were joined in 2005 by AIM-listed British Biocell (BBI Plc), a developer and manufacturer of diagnostic products. BBI was acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations Inc (IMI) in February 2008. In March 2008 Quotient concluded its fourth investment round, bringing together the same institutional investors with angel investors both old and new in a £1 million deal. This will enable the company to go into production and worldwide distribution of the Quo-Test system. See item on News page. |
